Our Projects
Completed case studies and ongoing jobs
MW Fire have gone from strength to strength in a relatively short period. For twenty‑five years we have focused on expert advice, quality installation and the best preventative maintenance possible. Our projects range from local works to major installations such as the fire system for the Old War Office. Below is a selection of present and past projects we are proud to share.

The Old War Office
A more prestigious location is hard to find: a stone’s throw from the War Office, the Admiralty, Horse Guards Parade and Downing Street. It is an exceptional setting for one of the capital’s most significant redevelopments.
Our role:
We were responsible for the full installation process, from design through to commissioning, working in partnership with our client, the Ardmore Group.
The OWO has been transformed into a five‑star luxury hotel with 125 bedroom suites and 85 private residences. We are proud to have delivered the fire safety systems that protect this iconic building in its new incarnation.

Westminster Fire Station
This English Baroque‑style building, built in 1906 and now Grade II listed, has been transformed into 17 luxury apartments in the heart of Victoria. The former appliance bay now houses a restaurant, giving the building a new life while retaining its historic character.

The Ned Hotel — Poultry
The Ned in Poultry opened in 2017 within a Grade I listed building originally designed in 1925 as the headquarters of Midland Bank, then the largest clearing bank in the world.
Our role:
MW Fire installed the fire containment, cabling and associated accessories, programmed the fire panels and commissioned the complete fire control system. We continue to provide service and maintenance for this prestigious and historic building.
Protection is delivered through the NFS3 EXT extinguishant releasing panel. MW Fire used ONYX Works, Notifier’s graphical integration platform, to monitor and manage fire information directly from the live system throughout the project.

Renewi — UK
Renewi plc is a leading European waste‑to‑product company, recycling or recovering around 90% of the waste it processes each year.
Our role:
For six years, MW Fire has delivered system upgrades across nine of Renewi’s UK industrial sites (formerly Shanks). The sites use specialist Italian fire control panels, for which our engineers undertook dedicated training in Milan. At Frog Island, we installed new fire alarms, flame detection, deluge systems and Vesda/ASD panels.
Dorsett Hotel — Shepherds Bush
Dorsett is an international hotel and hospitality group established in 2007, with properties in major cities around the world.
Our role:

Notifier by Honeywell technology was selected for the fire protection systems. Each room is served by a voice alarm and public address system. The installation is controlled by two Notifier ID3000 fire alarm control panels linked to three repeater panels, a paging system and three FAAST aspirating systems. Two FAAST units protect the basement areas, with a third covering the full‑height atrium.
